Wellbeing Facilitation
What Wellbeing Facilitation is:
Our goal is for people to experience improved wellbeing. To assist with that, we have workers called Wellbeing Facilitators.
Our Wellbeing Facilitators provide services in the funding category of Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation.
What is included in the Wellbeing Facilitation service?
A Wellbeing Facilitator is like a coach – the aim isn’t to complete your goals for you. Instead, they guide you to use your own strengths to make progress on your wellbeing goals. This means they’ll do things with you, rather than for you.
A Wellbeing Facilitator will meet with you regularly to work on your wellbeing goals.
There are some things a Wellbeing Facilitator is not able to do. These include:
- Provide cleaning, gardening, repair, or other home maintenance services.
- Provide personal care services like showering, dressing, feeding, or lifting.
- Do tasks or errands without you, except in exceptional circumstances.
- Store, administer, or manage your medication or your money.
- Prepare meals.
